Prof. Stammberger was a pioneer in nasal endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery. He continued to further develop Prof. Messerklinger’s technique, and taught it with incomparable passion throughout the world in innumerable courses and congresses.
He established Graz as a premier center for endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and while losing him cannot be expressed by words, his legacy will be carried on forever.
His team here in Graz wants to especially thank him not only for his guidance and mentorship, but also for being the extraordinary man he was, with enormous wisdom and knowledge far beyond our field, yet remaining humble and always there for all of us.
The outstanding rhinologist Prof. Stammberger will forever remain in our minds, but it is our friend Heinz who will always remain in our hearts.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, the international and national Faculty I would like to welcome you to the 55th Course on Rhinosurgery held in Graz.
Our city is a UNESCO world heritage site and is a place where tradition meets future. This is also true for our course that started 30 years ago. Ever since the Graz School of Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery was taught here and has been developed further.
We would like to invite you to learn and improve your skills in endoscopic rhinoplasty, FESS and rhinoneurosurgery through lectures and cadaver dissections, at the place where it originates owing the achievements by Messerklinger and Stammberger.
Share the experience with local and international experts in the field of rhinology over 3 ½ intensive days with us in Graz.
We will be happy and excited to welcome you!
